Yoga for everyone
In Sanskrit, Namaste means “Salutation To You,” or “The Divine In Me Bows To The Divine In You.” In its essence, it is a salutation. An acknowledgment of another. But it goes even deeper than that. Namaste is more than just saying “hello”.
When someone says Namaste, the word itself carries the vibration of true seeing. It’s someone saying, “I see you, beyond your strengths and weaknesses, beyond your achievements and your hurts, beyond your personality, I see the pure light that you are.
So the next time you come to the end of your yoga class, and you place your hands together over your heart, tune into the meaning of this word. Say it for yourself, say it for the person next to you, say it for everyone in your life.
