    Yoga Room

    Children & Teens
    Yoga

Studies show that children who engage in mindfulness practices have less anxiety, better focus in school, and are more compassionate compared to those who do not.

At Yoga Room, we believe in a better world thanks to people feeling better. We are convinced that yoga can help children and teens:
    - feel better in their mind and body
    - learn universal values of self-respect and respect for the world around them (Yamas & Niyamas)

YOGA & MINDFULNESS FOR CHILDREN (8 to 12 years old)

Our yoga classes for children are designed to maintain the inherent yoga abilities they have within them. We explore the magic of yoga and mindfulness in a playful and a non-competitive environment. This journey within elevates your child’s confidence and self-awareness on and off the mat. Yoga helps to develop co-ordination and concentration, stimulates their creativity, strengthens their physical abilities and increases their flexibility.

YOGA AND MINDFULNESS FOR TEENS (13+)

Our Yoga classes for Teens are designed for those important transition years between being a child and a young adult. In the adolescent years so much is changing in bodies, identity, studies, friendships and world-view. Yoga practice supports the growing of self-awareness that is integral to discovering who you really are, what you really want and love, empowers you to go for it, and reconnects you with an inner place of calm in the midst of the storm.
